If you haven't heard of Haunted Pittsburgh's walking ghost tour, you're in for a treat this fall near our apartments in Pittsburgh. With Halloween around the corner, now's the perfect time to experience the spooky side of our beloved city. Haunted Pittsburgh's tour is not your typical ghost tour. Instead, talented guides take you through the storied past of the city, combining history and mystery to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, while simultaneously educating you on some of the little-known facts of our town's past.
The tours are led by Haydn Thomas, deemed an ambassador of Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for his passion, dedication, and overwhelming wealth of knowledge about our city. Haydn is a storyteller and a historian above all else. He is originally from Western Pennsylvania but has made a habit of traveling the world, spending winters in Abu Dhabi and teaching in the Bahamas. He has always called Munhall, PA his home, though, and after earning a Master’s degree in history from Thiel College, he found Haunted Pittsburgh and settled in. Haydn quickly became a fan favorite as he gave each tour 100% of his energy and enthusiasm, delighting in the art of storytelling and guiding folks through truths about their city they never knew before. Haydn’s tours often end in a standing ovation, as guests begrudgingly head home, their heads spinning with tales of Pittsburgh’s spooky side.
