Celebrating the Music
Held at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture from June 15th – June 17th, the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival (PIJF) offers an expansive line-up of local and world-renowned musicians, including Grammy winners Marcus Miller, Gregory Porter, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Jazz FM’s Best International Jazz Artist of 2017, Donny McCaslin. You’ll also enjoy performances from the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra and the University of Pittsburgh.

Get ready to hear jazz like never before as the PIJF is always exploring new ways to showcase the music.The Gallery holds intimate sessions amongst gorgeous works of art, where guests can enjoy a medley of soulful sounds and inspiring displays. Other events like the free JazzFest Crawl, takes place throughout downtown Pittsburgh and features performances by regional artists. The Taste of Jazz party includes an array of styles, piano performances, and restaurants serving up delectable bites.
